Catch Report

The fish commenced spawning really early here this year. Phil Halls party arrived to spawning fish which continued over the weekend before temperature drops on Monday stopped the carp in mid flow. The fish just switched off and only 2 fish were banked at 37 and 46.08lbs plus one lost.

The following week things picked up with 27 fish landed with a  fifty, 5 forties and 16 thirties. Mostly smaller male fish.

Lionel Coulson in swim 1 had 11 fish to 45lbs.

Kev O'Neil in swim 11 took 9 with one loss including a couple of forties.

Trev in swim 12 had the weeks best fish at 57.04lbs in his 3 fish catch.

Lance in 8 managed 3 thirties to 38lbs.

Warmer weather this week so I expect further spawning activity.
